We can see thatInternet usage changed our society in both a good way and a bad way. Thesetechnologies are useful, but they also require intelligence too. In order touse them efficiently, one must have the ability to control them, not bedistracted and have the ability not to be addicted to them. These concepts ofintelligence may not be inside their culture before, but once a new technologyis introduced, once must change their ways and style in order to cope with it.Thus, intelligence is constantly changing its definition along with theenvironment. However, I don’t think we need to make any intelligent people. Some people who can deal well with changes are probably already in the society, but being ignored.

Finally, for asociety to flourish it needs not only the “intelligent” people, it also needs avariety of people to cope with the changing environment. However, due to manyoutside factors, such as opportunities and chances, not all people are as“intelligent” as they are. People with higher social classes have moreopportunities than the lower social classes, and tend to have more educationand knowledge, thus making the majority of the higher classes “intelligent”. Agraduate from college tends to have more careers than a dropout, too (Sternbergand Grigorenko, 1429). There is agreat possibility that if the lower class were educated, they might performwell, even better than those who were already educated. I think rather thanmaking more “intelligent” people, we should give more chance for the lowerclass and poor people to be educated, because if we tried to make smarterpeople, the lower class people might be ignored completely, when he had achance to be as intelligent as anyone in his society. In addition, thetechnology takes time and millions of dollars to make a single human being. Ithink it would be more efficient to teach a lower class or poor people

I think that before we make any further moves for intelligent humanbeing, we should consider the possibility that it would be nearly impossible tomake one, and, we might find a really intelligent being in our own society atfirst.
