Study on Social Work Graduates' Professional Identity Status and Influence Factors:Take Universities in Shanghai as an example
Abstract: The current social work professionalism has developed continuously, but at the same time , there are also some problems: such as low social identity, the professional brain drain is getting more serious. Based on combining the previous studies, the primary research method will be both qualitative and quantitative, carrying out questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews with the professional social work in college undergraduates in Shanghai. Through analyzing the data, deriving the professional identity status and its influence factors of the social work graduates’ of Shanghai. This paper argues that a lower professional identity is the main reason of personnel and professional draining. Low social cognition, insufficient government support, low salary treatment, imperfect bonus promotion mechanism, lack of professional education and professional development is the core of the influence of the professional identity of social work graduates.
