Abstract:Kindergarten outdoor physical activities and games can enrich the teaching content so that children have a high enthusiasm and interest in participating in teaching, and play an irreplaceable role in the children’s growth and development in physical and mental health. At present, however, there are many deficiencies and lag in the implementation of children outdoor physical activities and games. Given this, this paper conducted an investigation against the situation of Kaifeng T Kindergarten’s senior class outdoor physical activities and games by means of questionnaires and interviews. This paper mainly analyses the current basic forms, duration and the quality of the kindergarten outdoor physical activities and games, then seeks its causes. On this basis, this paper proposes the flowing appropriate measures and effective suggestions. Firstly, the kindergarten teachers should scientifically design and properly organize outdoor physical activities and games. Secondly, the government should continue to enhance the policy and financial support in the preschool education, and organize training for kindergarten teachers to change their opinions on senior class’s outdoor physical activities and games. Thirdly, kindergarten should make more equipment for the new outdoor physical activities and games. Last but not least, the kindergarten should identify the goal of outdoor physical activities and games, properly organize the form and content of the activities, and be strict with the time.
