Abstract
Nowadays news are playing a dominant role in our daily life ,especially with the spread of globalization, journalist English and its related culture has become increasing popular in china. what’s more ,Owing to its uniqueness ,it is endowed with as an applied language ,journalistic English has come to separate from common English and it differs much from the latter in aspect as diction and sentence pattern, which makes it become a special kind of Language material with distinctive language form and stylistic feature. To sum up, journalistic English, as an applied variety, is a dynamic language in use, the research on which still has a long way to go. Later news research may be done with a larger data, from the angle of the science of communication, on news writing, on news translation or on different sub-categories of English news, etc.

1.1 Purpose and Significance of the study
Globalization and further development in depth of reform and opening-up provide China with access to more contacts with the outside word. In such a condition, there is an urgent need for China to introduce herself to and to know more about the rest of the world and communicate better with countries in the world. Under such circumstances, news has become an indispensable source in facilitating people to know important issues home and abroad. And Journalistic English, as a practical and professional language, has its own characteristic both at the lexico-grammatical level and professional language, has its own characteristic both at the lexico-grammatical level and the discourse level. Analyzing journalistic English will be of help for English learners to understand and write English news more effectively in one aspect, and for researchers to know more about this style in the other.
