But it should be noted that this phenomenon is not the same thing as Chinglish. It must be mentioned that Li Wenzhong(1993) further pointed out that China English was an English variety used by the Chinese-speaking people and based on Standard English, characterized with China which was unavoidable and useful for spreading Chinese culture. Although the editors of China newspapers are Chinese, the potential readers are English native speakers, so editors try their best to write articles in standard English.
