Abstract:With the accelerated globalization of the world development, as a universal languageEnglish, also has been highly valued by many countries of the Department of education.As a cornerstone of English education, primary school English naturally becomes the focus of attention. English as an independent discipline is introduced into the primary school teaching from the fall of 2001, English course is from the third grade primary school start. But at present, the primary school English teaching is still in the exploratory stage, there are many imperfections. In view of this, this article mainly through literature research method, observation method, interview method, according to the current teaching situation of English classroom in Zhoukou city of Wenchang primary schoolinvestigation, mainly from the students' interest in learning English, teaching quality,analyzed the status quo of multiple perspectives and the examination oriented education to elementary school students English learning effect, and the analysis of the reasons for the formation. On the basis of this, put forward to make English teachingwith high grade primary school is reasonable, effective suggestions: improving the quality of teachers, using the game teaching method, using the hybrid model of English teaching, respect for inpidual differences of students, the clever use of teaching resources.

小学高年级英语课堂教学中的问题及其对策
在我国，越来越多的年轻家长对孩子的英语能力表现出热切的关注，学习英语从娃娃抓起的概念也在家长心中根深蒂固，英语课程是从小学三年级起开始开设，作为英语教育的奠基石，小学高年级的英语课堂教学状况已经成为政府，教育行政部门及全社会所关注的热点。[1]兴趣是一种甜蜜的牵引，如何提高小学高年级英语教学效果，提高课堂效率不是一个简单的事情，使学生有了学习兴趣便是一个良好的开端，在尊重学生主体地位的基础上，进行激发学生学习动机的课堂教学，如何既能真正增加学生的学习兴趣，又能让学生掌握扎实的学科知识是我们需进一步研究的课题。
