Preparation and Characterization of Bifunctional Mesoporous Silica
Abstract:Under acidic conditions, using tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as the silicon source, a triblock copolymer EO20PO70EO20 as a template, synthesis of mesoporous silica having a mesoporous morphology (SBA-15). 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (APTES) and the coupling surface of the mesoporous silica, amino-modification, and then polyacrylic acid (PAA) amino mesoporous silica surface modification, synthesis of amino carboxyl-functionalized mesoporous NH2-SBA-15-PAA material. Using infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermogravimetric (TGA) and other means of modified mesoporous silica structure, properties were characterized. The results show that the amino and carboxy successfully grafted mesoporous silica surface.
